Easy lucid dream techniques are difficult to find, especially
ones that are guaranteed to work. All the techniques that I use to try
would require me to re-pattern and reprogram myself so that my perceived
nature of reality would change by using simple affirmations. If you
have ever tried this you will know that it is not an easy lucid dream
technique, in fact it is quite difficult.
Repeating the words "I am dreaming" over and over again is supposedly one of the easy lucid dream techniques. I did this for more than five weeks straight and did not once even come close to having a lucid dream. I did once recall a dream in which I was at a hockey game and the phrase "you are dreaming" flashed across the screen. That did not even clue me in to the fact that I was dreaming. I only realized it after I woke up.
I wanted to find easy lucid dream techniques so badly that I spent hours and hours researching the Internet and found out what I was missing and what I needed to do. Using this research I formed this list of easy lucid dream techniques, and if practiced every day you will soon be on your way to having your first lucid dream.
First thing in the morning, as soon as you wake up, write down everything that you can remember about your dreams. Have a pad and paper on your nightstand for this. Try reliving your dreams just as if you were lucid at the time of your dream and imagine the excitement and the sensations that being lucid during a dream would induce. Visualize that you are already being lucid during a dream, visualize that lucid dreaming is a normal part of your life.
Reserve about ten or fifteen minutes every afternoon and re-envision your dream again, feel nothing but confidence that you can take control of your dreams and be lucid a throughout the dream. Don't be obsessive about this, just practice every day for a few minutes and again envision yourself taking over your dream.
Now here comes the fun part; eat a light dinner and do not watch TV for at least two hours before bedtime. Just try to meditate and relax use binaural beats and headphones to help you. When you get in bed make sure you have that note pad handy so you can take notes about your dreams. While you are in bed and ready for sleep, listen to isochronic tones, they will help you attain an aware but very relaxed state. In that condition it will be very easy to slip into your dreams and remain conscious.
These very easy lucid dream techniques can be very powerful when they are made a part of your daily routine. The secret to this is using binaural beats and isochronic tones to calm your brain waves and push all doubt from your mind.
